It was bittersweet tonight as I tucked my sweet baby girl into her bed...In the morning she will wake up and will no longer be a baby anymore. She will be two years old.
She decided she was ready to be a big girl today and wanted a tricycle for her birthday. We are obviously still working on the pedaling but she scooted it around the house all afternoon as happy as could be.
I can't believe how much this rambunctious little girl has changed my life. She has brought me to my knees more times than I can count not only in desperation, but also in gratitude for the joy she has brought into my life. I thank my Heavenly Father for giving me the special gift of a daughter!

What a blessing it must be to be Lila's Mommy. Her tenacity, rambunctiousness, and general adorable ways seem to be the perfect combination of awesomeness concealed behind those to-die-for curls. Please wish her a happy birthday from her California fan club!!! Blessings!!
I understand completely. My baby girl is not 22 and I thank God everyday for her. Enjoy each day.
