Cupcake Liner Chicks

I have obviously found a new obsession with cupcake liners. I saw these bright yellow mini cupcake liners on clearance and I knew instantly what cute little spring craft to make with them...Little Chicks.
I haven't made these with my kids yet because I'm waiting on some chick books that I put on hold at the library, so this was my trial run on the craft. I was so excited about them I had to share in advance.  :)
Glue the cupcake liners onto a piece of green cardstock paper. Add wiggly eyes and a diamond-shaped beak folded in half. I wanted to use actual yellow feathers for the wings but I couldn't find them in my craft closet (definitely time for spring cleaning!), so I cut hearts out of yellow tissue paper for the wings. I drew on feet with an orange oil pastel.

I heard that my local Cal Ranch Store has baby chicks in and I can't wait to stop by with Lila to check them out to go along with this craft.
