30 Days of Halloween–Three Little Ghosties Kids Craft

Halloween themed children’s books are a must this time of the year! My toddler and I created an adorable, simple art piece to go along with one of our favorites “Three Little Ghosties” to share with you. We used our trusty cupcake liners to help us make our happy ghosts.

Three Little Ghosties by Pippa Goodhart

“Three little ghosties, sitting on their posties, eating burnt toasties….” How much trouble could three harmless little ghosties get into in one night? Plenty! These silly spirits love boasting to each other about who is the scariest. Ghouls, witches, and even a neighborhood ogre all find themselves at the mercy of these naughty ghosties, who spook them with a “woooo, woooo, woooo, BOOOO!” But when the ghosties decide to scare some boys and girls for a change, who will get the biggest fright of all? This adorable, rhyming tale by Pippa Goodhart is just the antidote for bedtime jitters.

HOW TO MAKE A CUPCAKE LINER GHOST CRAFT

Supplies you will need:

Directions:
1. Start by cutting strips from your brown paper to make fence posts. Glue them onto the bottom of your grey piece of cardstock paper to make the old fence.

2. Next, cut three white cupcake liners to make ghost shapes and add the curvy border along the bottom of the ghost. My toddler just turned 3 so I cut both the fence pieces and ghosts for her, but older children can do these steps on their own.

3. Glue the ghosts onto the fence posts. Add the finishing details to the ghosts by gluing on wiggly eyes, drawing on a mouth with a black marker and using a red/pink crayon to add those cute, rosy cheeks.
