We had a friend over this afternoon and decided to make a quick fall tree craft. I cut some strips out of a brown lunch sack to use as the trunk. We crinkled them and then flattened them out and glued them on to our paper.
Next I got out some fall colored mini cupcake liners and we glued them on our paper to make our leaves.
We colored grass on the bottom with a green crayon. Our friend got creative and colored blue sky and yellow sun on her artwork. It's kind of hard to see in the pictures but it's so cute. She is 6yrs old.
Here is my daughter's tree. It's been exciting to see her progression over the couple months with using glue and crayons. I was excited that she put the grass at the bottom of the paper and even a streak of blue at the top for sky. She just turned 3 in August.
