Ornament Stamped Christmas Tree Craft

We had fun with another Christmas Tree Craft today. This time we stamped colorful ornaments on our tree and topped it with a glitter filled star. In order for there to be sufficient stamping space, I cut the tree out of a 12" x 12" cardstock paper and used as much of the paper as I could.
To stamp our trees we used circular paper cups that I found in my craft closet. I wanted to use empty toilet paper rolls, but I didn't have any on hand (crazy, I know!). I let my daughter choose four colors she wanted to choose and I poured some paint on some small paper plates.
My daughter dipped the paper cups in the paint and stamped her tree with all four colors of ornaments.
Let the paint dry completely on the tree.
While the paint is drying, cut a star out of yellow cardstock paper. Cover it in school glue and sprinkle gold glitter all over it.
After the star is dry, glue it to the top of the tree.
Cut a trunk out of brown paper and glue it to the bottom of your Christmas tree.
It turned out so lovely!
