And this is my handsomely crazy husband who puts up with supports my crafting addictions...
(Shhh....Don't tell him I put this picture on here or he might limit my
Hobby Lobby budget this month. Hahaha Totally kidding!)
You want to know more??
I live in Utah. I have been married for 11 1/2 years and have an AAS Degree in Business Education. I worked for about 7 years as a legal secretary/paralegal but currently I enjoy being a stay at home Mommy. Once I left the work force for good after having my third child, I suddenly felt a personal void in my life. Going to work was my freedom from the craziness of Motherhood and I struggled finding a place of escapement for those days when being a Mother drives you to the brink of insanity. (You know what days I'm talking about, right?!)
This is how I Heart Crafty Things started. Finding a hobby became a necessity for me...I soon realized that after our weekly trips to the library, I loved making arts and crafts with my kids that corresponded to the books we read. Taking pictures of our art projects and sharing them on my blog became a fulfillment to that void I was feeling after leaving the workforce.
Ready for some randomness??
If it involves Peanut Butter, I am ALL in! Throw in some chocolate with the peanut butter and I am literally in HEAVEN!! "Chocolate" was one of my first words as a baby.
I am terrified, TERRIFIED of spiders. They are seriously out to get me, I swear it! When I was two I put a black widow in my mouth and attempted to eat it. By some miracle, my Mom got it out of my mouth before it bit me.
Although the rest of my house might look like a tornado blew through it, I keep the shirts in my closet organized perfectly by the colors of the rainbow.
Shoes??? Meh...I prefer a closet full of EARRINGS!
One time I was at a family reunion and I felt something crawling around in my pants...Before I could say "What the??" it stung me and I threw off my pants faster than the speed of lightening, standing in front of all of my cousins in my underwear. I was an adult by the way...Me and flying insects NO LONGER get along!
The color yellow, long walks, field trips with my kids and Target make me Very, VERY Happy! I could eat pizza every day of my life and not get sick of it and I LOVE the smell of paper!
Phew! That was a mouthful. Thanks for coming to my blog!
